Challenge

Customer was experiencing settlement along the rear addition of the home. The addition was built over an existing patio slab and rain runoff from the gutters allowed the foundation to settle over time. Previous owners attempted using floor leveling compounds to help with the pitch of the floor, however the soil was never addressed causing additional movement slowly over time.

Solution

Vesta Foundation Solutions used PolyLevel foam injection around areas of the rear border of the addition.  This allowed the floor to be stabilized and slightly lifted. Within 3 hours, Vesta had rolled carpet back, installed repair methods and re-stretched the carpet. Additional areas of concern were treated during the installation.  Areas included a sinking HVAC pad, and front step that was holding water during heavy rains.
