Driving Piers to Load Bearing Strata
The soil along the foundations edge are removed to install hydraulic driven piers to load bearing soil. This is a picture of Eric working hard to keep piers driving as well as keeping warm!
Piers in progress
The pile driven style pier system takes modular equipment to install. This project took three days from start to finish.
Once we were done the foundation was bench-marked and documented. The bricks were put back and the surface was cleaned of debris.
We always try to leave a repaired foundation cleaner than we found it. Here is a picture of the final cleanup efforts by our team
Foundation Pier system
As you see here, the tops of the pier systems are visible until we lift and backfill. Helical piers and push pier systems can be hidden once backfilled.
Sinking Foundation Wall in Springdale, AR
This home near Tonittown was experiencing movement because the soils beneath the garage and patio walls could not hold the weight of the brick. The Vesta Foundation Solutions of Arkansas team worked through 20 degree temperatures to install Push piers on the exterior walls of the garage. Helical pier systems were installed to help support the patio brick walls because of their light weight structure.
