Challenge

Customer experiences settlement on their 3-year-old structure. The soil was consisting of different clay and clayey sand mixes. These soil types made it difficult to diagnose the movement of the outside stem wall and the interior slab. With the new construction, transitional style design and wet landscape the diagnosing and design proved to be difficult.

Solution

The Vesta Foundation Solutions team installed 27 piers along the outside. The soil was excavated by hand and then installed to a depth of 32 ft deep. The interior slab was injected using poly level foam injection. The System was designed in conjunction with one another and installed in a manner to work together to keep the home stabilized.
