Challenge

This commercial warehouse space had experiences settling in many slab portions dur to voids under the concrete.  The reputable contractor removed and replaced sections and within 60 days the slab sections were moving under the pressure of forklifts driving through the areas.  The contractors attempted other options of repair before turning to the VESTA team for advice.

Solution

The Vesta Foundation Repair team installed POLY level foam injection under the concrete to permenantly stabilize the slab.  The foam has a 10% deflection rate when injected under pressure.  This means the injetion being nearly 2 ft deep and 20 ft long woulf deflect less than .024" under the extreme weight of the rolls of paper and forklifts carrying them.
