POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Field Supervisor supervises the production teams out in the field. This position reports to the Production Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Production Training/Development

Creates, leads, and manages production training.

Inspects job sites and production crews.

Assists the Production Manager with performance management for production crews.

Assists with group and individual production meetings on a weekly basis.

Provides other departments with production training as needed.

Along with the Production Manager, formulates and implements strategies with the goals of having each crew meets their key performance indicators.

Stays up to date on production best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Makes and communicates adjustments to best practices when needed.

Ensures all aspects of installations are performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

Communicates with customers in a timely manner to overcome obstacles/problems on jobs and reach an acceptable solution.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-
Knowledge of construction or related trades and construction management.
-
Skill in operating a personal computer, cell phone, programs, and apps.

Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on screen roughly 50% of the time.

Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English.
-
Ability to understand and converse in Spanish is a plus.

Skill in verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.

Skill in and ability to operate equipment and/or power tools preferred.

Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb.

Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.

Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction or business preferred and 2+ years of experience as a foreman/manager in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field

A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
