When customers in Tulsa call us to discuss problems with their pier and beam structure, they often complain about musty smells, poor indoor air quality, and cold floors. That is exactly the problem with most homes in Oklahoma that have foundation vents. This is a common problem that can be repaired with the CleanSpace Crawl space encapsulation system. This is a simple system that encloses your crawl space and creates a dry usable space. The vapor barrier is installed on the dirt floor and up the walls. All joints are taped and the air space conditioned to make sure no mold can grow.
The Vesta team was able to lift this slab up over an inch, back to level with the brick around the pool. Eliminating any tripping hazards, and bringing piece of mind back to the homeowner just in time for warm weather.
When you have a home next to a swimming pool debris and water naturally sets between the slab sections. This ongoing water causes the underlying soil to settle and sink. Then the area of your home that most people would assume would be most enjoyable during the summer months becomes a trip hazard area for your family. If you are experiencing this; it can easily be fixed using the Nexus Pro and PoyLevel system!
If you have been tolerating that little toe-catcher when you are unloading your groceries or trying to get into your home during a rain storm; you are like many of the customers that we help every day. This customer had the VESTA team lift their sidewalk nearly 4 inches! This was less than 40% the cost of replacing the concrete and now they have a great warranty on this now safe access to their home!
The Vesta Team Lifts this Small Sidewalk rather than using new flatwork
Another great, cost effective method to lifting the concrete rather than replacing.
This customer waited months for the city to fix her driveway and sidewalk. Rather than continuing to trip over the edge of her driveway, she had VESTA come and lift her sidewalk and protect the remaining portions using PolyLevel and Nexus Pro Joint Sealer.
In some cases homes can become rotted because of the moisture slowly seeping in after heavy rains. That moisture slowly evaporates into the space and causes mold growth, and dry rot on the wood joists, sill, and beams. In this project, the Vesta team installed new sill plates, rim joists and joists to help make sure the home is resting properly on the foundation wall.
This customer called in and was concerened about the porch on one of his rent homes, the distress was obvious but he was not sure what the best solution was. He had considered busting out the porch and re-pouring, but he decided to check out an alternative route which led him to Vesta. The Vesta team was able to offer him a quicker, more efficent, and cost effective solution. The porch was lifted and sealed prevetning any further damage.
During some additional repair, the Vesta team prevented foundation damage from occurring on this home by fixing the sloped concrete to make sure water drained away from the home.
